The collision took place after another driver attempted a U-turn
One person was killed and two more were injured in a fatality collision Thursday afternoon on the Camas Slough Bridge. The collision occurred after an oversized load carrying a manufactured home became stuck after wedging between traffic barriers on the bridge.
The truck transporting the manufactured home was traveling westbound on State Route 14 near milepost 12.4. The westbound lane became completely blocked at the start of the Camas Slough Bridge.
The collision took place after another driver attempted a U-turn.
Both directions of State Route 14 were closed for much of the afternoon starting at milepost 15 near 6th Street but were reopened at about 6 p.m.
