Artstra, an organization that supports all art forms in Southwest Washington, is inviting guests to celebrate Poetry Moves, a partnership with C-TRAN
A Celebration of Poetry is coming to Magenta Theater in Vancouver on April 6, with a salute to Poetry Moves.
The event will feature Christopher Diaz, Clark County Poet Laureate Susan Dingle, and Robert Lashley, a 2016 Jack Straw fellow.
Poets selected for Season 14 of Poetry Moves will read their work, which has been featured on C-TRAN buses.
Poetry Moves is a program of Artstra, a nonprofit organization in Southwest Washington that supports all forms of arts. Artstra has been working with C-TRAN for years, publishing poetry on bus channel cards in buses. Every year, 10 new poems by poets in the region are selected.

The Celebration of Poetry is from 1 to 3 p.m. April 6 at Magenta Theater, 1108 Main Street, in Vancouver. Admission is free, but there is limited seating. Overflow guests are welcome to view the proceedings which will be broadcast in the Magenta Theater foyer.
