VANCOUVER — Beginning Monday (Aug. 30), the Bluum Coffee Truck will be found at the O.O. Howard House parking lot, located near the Officers Row roundabout, at Evergreen Blvd. and Fort Vancouver Way. Area residents are invited to pick up a favorite pastry and beverage Mondays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Tuesdays through Fridays, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. while touring the historic reserve site.
Inspired by the heritage and harmony of small villages in Holland and Germany, Cobie Neidlinger created Bluum Coffee with her daughters, Alinah and Aylah, to honor a "people-first" tradition of kindness in the food industry.
The name "Bluum" is a play on the word "bloom," meaning "to flourish." The company offers locally-roasted craft coffee, hand-selected pastry pairings, and the kind of old-world service that reminds us what it means to be part of a vibrant, blossoming community.
A native of Washington state, Neidlinger has been catering corporate events throughout the northwest for nearly a decade — a service she and her daughters are continuing and for which they are currently taking reservations. A woman-owned, family-owned business, Bluum seeks to partner with The Historic Trust to educate and empower the community to honor its history and participate locally.
Bluum Coffee's beans are locally-roasted by the award-winning Relevant Coffee in downtown Vancouver. Both companies were branded by Blue Blazes, a Vancouver-based design firm.
