On Wednesday (Jan. 21), detectives with the Battle Ground Police Department arrested 41-year-old Christopher Lee Morrissey on suspicion of Rape of a Child in the Third Degree. The arrest stems from an investigation that began in 2022 involving a 14-year-old victim. Morrissey was booked into the Clark County Jail.
Detectives continue to actively investigate the case. Investigators are aware that Morrissey has lived in the Southwest Washington area for several years and detectives believe there may be other individuals who have relevant information, including potential additional victims.
