One adult patient was evaluated and transported by AMR with respiratory distress in satisfactory condition
Just after 4:30 a.m. Tuesday (March 10) morning, the Vancouver Fire Department was dispatched to 3000 NE 109th Ave. in Vancouver for a balcony that was on fire.
The first-arriving fire engine found a second story back deck that was on fire and extinguished it with a hose line. Firefighters checked the apartments to see if the fire had extended into the building but found that there was no further fire. Everyone was able to evacuate safely.
One adult patient was evaluated and transported by AMR with respiratory distress in satisfactory condition.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Vancouver Fire Marshal’s Office.
