K-12 student poems sought for C-TRAN buses

Entries must be from K-12 students currently enrolled in a public, private, or home school in Clark County

VANCOUVER — The nonprofit organization Artstra has announced the submission period for Poetry Moves season 10, open to K-12 student poems to be showcased on C-TRAN buses beginning July 2020.

Entries must be from K-12 students currently enrolled in a public, private, or home school in Clark County, Washington. A maximum of two poems may be submitted, each of which must not exceed seven lines and must be the student’s own original work. Ten poems will be selected for Poetry Moves Season 10 and will be displayed in C-TRAN buses beginning July 2020.

About Poetry Moves

Poetry Moves is a program of Artstra in collaboration with C-TRAN and Fort Vancouver Regional Libraries, providing poetry on bus channel cards in all C-TRAN buses. Installed on buses every six months are ten new poems by local and regional poets or student poets. All buses in the C-TRAN fleet display two different poem cards.
