Tennis on Campus Alumni Cup starts Friday and continues through Sunday
VANCOUVER — This Friday (May 3), through Sun., May 5, Vancouver Tennis Center will host the third annual Tennis on Campus Alumni Cup. The tournament integrates current club members with alumni, and gives alumni the chance to reunite with college friends.
This event is open to the public.
There are over 700 USTA Tennis on Campus clubs nationally, including 12 active clubs in the Pacific Northwest. USTA PNW Regional Manager AnnElise Anderson launched the Alumni Cup three years ago using the World Team Tennis format. This is the first year Vancouver Tennis Center will host the tournament, which for its first two years was held at the University of Washington.

Why: It’s the first time Vancouver Tennis Center will host this regional tournament involving 20 teams, 80 percent of whom are returning players.
How: USTA PNW has put its energy toward creating a variety of play opportunities that includes all members of the community, regardless of age, economic status and ability levels.
Visuals: There will be opportunities to watch the matches, and interview students, alumni and members of the USTA PNW staff.
