There were more than 170 booths, representing almost 300 businesses this year at the Greater Chamber of Vancouver’s Lemonade Day Junior Market in June.
Only one could become the top business owner, though.
After everything was recorded and tallied, Emma Turner, a 16-year-old from Vancouver, was recognized as the 2026 Southwest Washington Lemonade Day Entrepreneur of the Year.
Turner, owner of Fallen Leaf Lake Creations, was presented the award and other prizes by OnPoint Community Credit Union and the Greater Vancouver Chamber last week.
Turner turned her passion for crochet handmades into a successful business after learning about Lemonade Day and the Junior Market program.
She received a $100 cash reward, which was matched with a $100 investment from OnPoint Community Credit Union to support the continued growth of her business.
The presentation was made at the Waterfront branch of OnPoint Community Credit Union.
