A year ago, the Woodland Beavers surprised some by winning the Class 2A state softball championship.
This year, no surprise at all.
They were the best team all season. Then they proved it when it mattered most last week with another dominating performance at the state tournament.
This week, we got to ask the Beavers how they celebrated, what it is like to represent their community, and how they named their trophy.
