Nakia Creek Fire in the Larch Mountain area has spread to over 70 acres
A wildfire burning in the Larch Mountain Area of Clark County has grown to more than 70 acres according to sources.
The Nakia Creek Fire reportedly started Sunday (Oct. 9) afternoon and continued to burn throughout the night.
KOIN 6 News reported Monday morning that Washington State Department of Natural Resources officials said the fire was not expected to grow much larger. Crews were fighting the fire, which involved mainly burning brush and grass.
There were no evacuation orders in place.
