Victoria Ferrer, elected to Battle Ground City Council Position No. 3, took her official oath of office at Battle Ground City Hall on the afternoon of Nov. 28.
Council Member Ferrer assumed her new role immediately following the certification of the November 2023 election. The position was vacated by former Council Member Shauna Walters in May 2023. The City Council temporarily appointed Daniel Dingman to fill the role in June 2023.
Council Member Ferrer’s official 4-year term of office commences January 1, 2024, and will run through December 31, 2027.
The Battle Ground City Council is a seven-member board responsible for the legislative function of the city such as establishing policy, passing local ordinances, approving budget appropriations and developing an overall vision.
