Four teams from Clark County have advanced to the round of eight in their classifications
Clark County high schools went 4-3 in the opening round of the state girls soccer playoffs.
Defending champions Camas and defending champions Columbia River are still alive, trying to defend those championships.
Camas beat Bellarmine Prep 1-0 in the opening round of the Class 4A tournament. The Papermakers will host Skyline at 6 p.m. Saturday at Doc Harris Stadium in the quarterfinals.
Columbia River, the 2A defending champion, opened this year’s tournament with a 2-1 victory over Clarkston. The Chieftains are set to host Bellingham at 1 p.m Saturday at Kiggins Bowl in that quarterfinal matchup.
Prairie defeated Marysville Getchell 2-1 in the opening round of the 3A playoffs. The Falcons will travel for their quarterfinal matchup. As of 2 p.m. Thursday, time and date were not updated on the WIAA’s site.
In the 1A tournament, King’s Way Christian beat Lynden Christian 2-0. The Knights will get another home match in the quarterfinals, hosting Seattle Academy at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Union (4A), Mountain View (3A), and Hockinson (2A) all fell in their opening matches at state.
