Tickets, including 50-percent off for Grant Tasting, still available for lineup of celebrity and regional chefs
Culinary masters will be working their magic with live cooking demonstrations and there are a series of Grand Tasting events at ilani’s Wine and Food Fest this weekend, running Friday through Saturday.
David Rose, a finalist in Season 3 of Food Network Star, and Deanna Colon, a Master Chef Season 10 competitor, are among the chefs scheduled to appear. Cooking demonstrations are on tap from American Barbeque Showdown judge Kevin Bludso, Vegas Chef Prizefight champion Lamar Moore, and Manouschka Guerrier, the “Carrie Bradshaw” of cooking.
There will be cake sculptors, as well. Mike Elder and Chef Ngoc Trinh-Scott, who has worked for Wolfgang Puck.
Sharie Mukherjee, a contestant on Master Chef Season 10, and Chef Tracey Bloom, from Bravo TV’s Don’t Be Tardy, are on the schedule, as well.
The festival comes via partnership with ilani and the Northwest Wine And Food Society and the Ridgefield Lions Club, the beneficiaries of the weekend’s events.
Many local restaurants will be showing off their food, and regional wineries will be offering their best.
There are two Grand Tasting events on Friday, three on Saturday, and two more on Sunday. There is a cigar and bourbon tasting event on Friday, plus brunches on Saturday and Sunday.
