Four of the band’s members have roots in Clark County
After a year of no audiences, eclectic rock band The Governors is excited to announce a small Pacific Northwest concert series in Portland and Ridgefield. Four of the band’s members have roots in Clark County, including guitarist AJ Trantham of Camas, guitarist Daniel Sarkela of Battle Ground, pianist Patrick McCuistion of Battle Ground, and lead vocalist Michael McCormic, Jr. of Battle Ground.
Portland audiences can join in the fun on Fri., July 23 at 7 p.m. at Lovegood Performing Arts Center in Beaverton, with a special opening act from singer-songwriter Sarah Beth. The Ridgefield concert will be held outdoors on Sat., July 24 at 7 p.m. at the Shaffer Farm.
The Governors released their debut studio album, “Power to the People” in March of this year. Tickets to the concert are available for $15 on the band website, www.thegovernorsband.com
