The log show is just one of the main events of Territorial Days in Amboy. There is also the parade and lawnmower races and more.
But Saturday after the parade, Territorial Days belong to the men, women, and children who are skilled in the art of logging, and logging competition.
Chris Rau was named the men’s all-around logger and Beverly Frick was named the women’s all-around logger after both excelled in a number of events.
Photographer Mike Schultz was in Amboy on Saturday and captured championship moments from the Log Show as well as memories from the annual parade.
