Area residents and visitors flock to Amboy Territorial Park for three days of ‘Logs and Lawnmowers’
The 2023 Amboy Territorial Days Celebration was held this weekend, July 7-9, at Amboy Territorial Park. The theme of this year’s event was “Logs and Lawnmowers.’’
This year’s event included the annual parade, vendors and artisans, Car Show, Kids Zone, Lawn Mower Races, Log Show and the naming of the Territorial Days Court.
Amboy Territorial Park was established over 50 years ago to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the first Amboy Post Office (established in 1886). Amboy, Washington was and still is an unincorporated town in Southwest Washington.
The park is home to the Amboy Territorial Days Celebration which is held every year over the second weekend in July. This event is hosted by the Amboy Territorial Days Association, a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization that owns and manages Amboy Territorial Park.
