On Saturday (Feb. 18) the Battle Ground Citizen of the Year Committee announced that Kendra Laratta has been named the 2022 Battle Ground Citizen of the Year.
There were many nominations for the 2022 Battle Ground Citizen of the Year. The committee thanks everyone who took the time to make a nomination.
“We reviewed each one carefully – each person deserves to win,’’ read a statement from Bev Jones, committee point person. “The committee has chosen the person who has made such a huge impact on so much of Battle Ground. She is often behind the scenes volunteering, but many will recognize her for her role as a key player in Battle Ground festivals – bringing us the amazing Harvest Days last summer, Halloween on Main Street and recently the Holiday Window Decorating Contest. The committee is happy to announce the Battle Ground Citizen of the Year for 2022 is Kendra Laratta!’’
