Halloween themed parties and events around Clark County

VANCOUVER — It’s Halloween, and if you don’t fancy walking around in the rain the whole night, we thought we should let you know about a few alternatives.

Here are some Halloween themed events and parties happening in Vancouver and the surrounding area tonight:

Halloween Hangar at Pearson Field Education Center

From 6 to 9 p.m., Pearson Field Education Center behind Pearson Air Museum, will be hosting a Halloween party for young children and families.

Admission is free and there will be indoor and outdoor activities, weather permitting. The flight simulators, airplane cockpit, scary science experiments, and bags of Halloween candy while supplies last.

Grant House Halloween Party

From 6 to 10 p.m., The Eatery at the Grant House restaurant on Officers Row, will be throwing a classy Halloween Party for adults 21 and over.

Admission is $50 at the door, or $45 online. The ticket includes 2 drink tickets, unlimited appetizers and dessert bites, one raffle ticket for a giveaway, live music, as well as pumpkin carving and costume contests.

Bootacular Halloween Event at the Vancouver Mall

From 5 to 7 p.m., children 12 and younger can trick-or-treat on the lower level of the mall.

Admission is free, and games and crafts will also be available. Stores that are participating in the trick-or-treating will have candy signs in their windows.

Halloween Fun Fest on Main Street in Battleground

From 4 to 6 p.m., there will be safe community trick-or-treating on Battlegrounds Main Street, east of SR-503.

Participating businesses will have an orange jack-o-lantern in their windows. Kids and families are welcome, and Battleground Police Officers will be there handing out prizes as well.

There will also be a  Fright Night community Halloween party for kids at the Battleground Community Center, down the street.

Scaregrounds at the Clark County Event Center

Tonight, and through Nov. 3, Scaregrounds Haunted House Scream Park will be open from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Clark County Event Center at the fairgrounds.

Admission is $25 for adults and $18 for kids 13-years-old and younger. There are rides, food, and three new scary haunted houses.
