Furry Friends to hold Cat Adoption and Book Signing event

VANCOUVER — Woodin’ You Pampered Paws will host a Furry Friends Cat Adoption Event and book signing with author Ramona Marek on Sat., April 29 from 11 a.m to 2 p.m.

Woodin’ You Pampered Paws, Your Neighborhood Pet Supply Store & More, is located at the Center Square shopping center in Salmon Creek at 13305 NE Hwy 99 Suite 102, Vancouver.

Furry Friends will have a selection of their cats that are available for adoption at the event. The public is invited to come and meet the kitties and the volunteers.

About Furry Friends

Furry Friends is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, no-kill organization that rescues and adopts out homeless, relinquished, and abused cats in Clark County. They care for the kitties as long as it takes to find their forever home. They are an all-volunteer organization; there is no paid staff.

Mission Statement

To care for homeless, relinquished and abused cats by:

  • Spaying or neutering
  • Providing medical care and foster placement until permanent, loving homes are found
  • Educating the public regarding the care and responsibility of cat ownership
  • Collaborating with other pet rescue and companion groups to accomplish a no-kill status in the state of Washington
