It is the perfect opportunity for Harvest Days parade-goers to enjoy breakfast before heading off to the parade starting at 10 a.m. The fire station, located at 505 SW 1st St, is just one block south of the Harvest Days parade route. This year, in addition to the traditional sit-down breakfast, patrons can opt to take breakfast to-go in a box.

The all-you-can eat breakfast is $5 per person or $15 for the entire family. This year, firefighters are donating proceeds from the breakfast to Prevent Together: Battle Ground Prevention Alliance, a community coalition with a mission to prevent and reduce youth substance abuse in the Battle Ground community.

“We are all invested in the health and safety of our community’s youth,” said Coalition Coordinator Kathy Deschner, “together, through building resilience and strengthening relationships, we can and will prevent and reduce youth substance abuse.”

The city of Battle Ground has contracted with Fire District 3 to provide fire and emergency medical services within Battle Ground city limits since January 2016. For more information about the partnership, visit www.cityofbg.org/Fire-EMS.
