Camas Days is set to return at the end of July, with a patriotic celebration: America the Beautiful.
Camas Days is a two-day festival that focuses on family fun, arts and crafts, food and beverage, live music, and, of course, parades. This year’s event is July 26 and 27 in downtown Camas.
The Kids Parade will be at 11:30 a.m. on July 26, and the main parade, with the theme America the Beautiful, will start at 11 a.m. on July 27.

Brent Erickson, in honor of his 20 years of service in organizing Camas Days, is the grand marshal. He was with the Camas Parks Board for 24 years and was a volunteer firefighter for 14 years. Prior to his retirement, he was the executive director of the Camas-Washougal Chamber of Commerce.
Immediately following the grand parade is the festival’s iconic Bathtub Race.
Camas Days started in 1974. This year’s event already has more than 100 craft and commercial vendors scheduled to appear, along with 16 food vendors, as well as a new section for young entrepreneurs.
Parade applications and Bathtub Race applications are available at: www.cwchamber.com.
Live music by “The Caddies” and “The Beth Willis Band” are also on the schedule.
The event draws close to 15,000 people annually.
