Downtown Washougal Pumpkin Harvest Festival attracts engaged visitors

WASHOUGAL — Youngsters eager to enjoy an early Halloween experience flocked to the annual Downtown Washougal Pumpkin Harvest Festival Wed., Oct. 19.

 

The children used the opportunity to adorn their costumes for a dress rehearsal 12 days in advance of Halloween. Reflection Plaza in downtown Washougal was filled with children dressed as police officers, firemen, princesses and all kinds of animals.
Admission to the annual event was free as were the pumpkins at the family-friendly event which also featured a Halloween hunt, refreshments, prizes, treats, games and entertainment.
