BATTLE GROUND — Community members in Battle Ground were able to celebrate Halloween this evening with the free 35th annual Halloween Fun Fest, complete with trick-or-treating and Fright Night
Trick-Or-Treat Street took place on Main Street, East of SR-503, from 4-6 p.m. Area businesses sporting an orange paper jack-o-lantern in the window participated by handing out candy and goodies to trick-or-treaters. Children traveled with their families down Main Street, dressed in costumes, and collected their loot.
Also going on from 4-6 p.m., Fright Night, a free community Halloween party for children, took place inside the Battle Ground Community Center. Families and children attended, dressed in costumes, and participated in games and spooky fun.
This safe trick-or-treating event is put on by the Battle Ground Chamber of Commerce every Halloween. To find out more about this event and how your business can participate during a future year, visit the Battle Ground Chamber of Commerce website or call (360) 687-1510.
