Chelatchie Prairie Railroad to operate Fall Leaves Special

The run will be a diesel excursion, through a 330-foot solid rock tunnel, to the Heisson area with a stop at Moulton Station to visit Yacolt Falls

YACOLT — The Chelatchie Prairie Railroad will be operating Saturday & Sunday — Oct. 12 & 13 — with the Fall Leaves Special. Nature is changing the leaves with crispness in the air, it promises to be a beautiful event according to organizers.

The run will be a diesel excursion, through a 330-foot solid rock tunnel, to the Heisson area with a stop at Moulton Station to visit Yacolt Falls.

The train departs each day at noon and 2:30 p.m. from the train station in Yacolt. Plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure to allow sufficient time to pick up your tickets and board the train. Reservations are recommended as this is one of the railroad’s most popular events.
