The ART FEST is staged in the peaceful and tranquil setting of Shangri-La Farm, located 1.5 miles north of Lacamas Lake
The second annual Fern Prairie ART FEST is a two-day event connecting local artists and the community on Saturday and Sunday, July 31 and August 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The ART FEST is staged in the peaceful and tranquil setting of Shangri-La Farm, located 1.5 miles north of Lacamas Lake. A total of 10 artists will be invited to participate in the juried show.
“Last year’s show was very popular with hundreds of visitors taking in this new art festival event,” said organizer Liz Pike. “Art is an important part of life. It unites us as people. With the Fern Prairie ART FEST, I’m focused on providing a high quality art festival free to the public with an affordable booth fee for artists.”
Pike is a local artist who participates in several regional art events. Her work is represented by Camas Gallery and she was selected to be in a one-woman art show at Three Creeks Library in Salmon Creek in 2019 and in 2020. She has also been a featured artist on the Clark County Open Studios Tour for the past three years.
At the Fern Prairie ART FEST, artists have an opportunity to show and sell their work to the public, surrounded by the beautiful gardens at Shangri-La Farm.
A call to artists is now open. Interested artists must submit a jury application by June 30 in order to be considered. There is no jury fee. Accepted artists will pay $50 which includes a 10-foot by 10-foot booth both days.

Attendees are asked to park at the rented Grove Field Airport parking lot. Walk the 1/4 mile trail through the woods to Shangri-La Farm or take the free “Sunflower Mobile” shuttle service.
