Former lawmaker to be featured at Three Creeks Community Library in Vancouver May 3-29
VANCOUVER — Three Creeks Community Library is featuring Liz Pike’s original work in oils on canvas from May 3 through May 29. The one-woman show will be open to the public during Library hours, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day of the week.
The library is located at 800 NE Tenney Road, Vancouver. The public is also invited to an Opening Reception on Mon., May 6 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m in the Library Meeting Room. Attendees can meet Pike and view her new work while enjoying complimentary punch and cookies.
Lake Oswego Arts Council is also featuring Pike’s works along with four other artists at their annual Art in the Garden on Sat., May 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Tumwater Vineyards, 375 SW Barrel House Way, West Linn, OR.
Art in the Garden is a one-of-a-kind artistic event. Attendees can stroll through the Tumwater Vineyard on Pete’s Mountain in West Linn and watch Pike along with four other local artists demonstrate their unique processes. Food by Nicoletta’s Table including their famous mini meatballs, mini calzones, fried cheese ravioli, and more, including gluten-free and vegan choices will be on hand, along with desserts, all paired with Tumwater wine.
