2018 event continues through Sunday
RIDGEFIELD — ClarkCountyToday.com photographer/videographer Mike Schultz spent a day at the Clark County Fair Thursday.
The crowd seemed to be affected by the hot weather but still many area residents and visitors braved the heat to enjoy the annual event.
Clark Public Utilities continued its long-standing practice of helping fairgoers remain hydrated by offering free ice water. Staff and volunteers indicated Thursday that they had given away more than 42,000 cups of ice water so far this week.
The many attractions at the fair Thursday included the Demolition Derby, the Dock Dogs exhibit, animals and the carnival rides.
The 2018 Clark County Fair continues through Sunday at the Clark County Fairgrounds, located at 17402 NE Delfel Rd., in Ridgefield. For more information, visit www.clarkcofair.com.
