When the pandemic started, you were laughed at if you predicted that governments were going to use it as an excuse to trample on individual rights and freedom. This week, that evil day has arrived. The right to medical privacy and freedom has been eliminated for state and federal employees. You’re next, citizen.

Last week, the Gov. Jay Inslee dictatorship let the Washington State Patrol know that while troopers might be able to receive a religious exemption to the vaccine mandate, that “There is no accommodation we can provide for their religious exemption requests.” If there’s no accommodation, there’s no job. There’s no work for you at the Washington State Patrol unless you are vaccinated.

This is in spite of the fact that unvaccinated troopers have successfully done their jobs on the front lines for the entire pandemic. Now, Inslee’s reckless mandate is about to kick off a staffing crisis at the Washington State Patrol. Internal documents obtained by the Jason Rantz Show on KTTH-AM Seattle asks the obvious question: “… what the agency will look like with a 20-35 percent loss of employees?”

This is terrible, but there’s more. A lot more. Similar stories are coming in from other state agencies. Washington State Ferries are looking at a loss of enough employees that the Ferry System might be crippled or even shut down.

From law enforcement to transportation, and from education to healthcare, nearly every state system that provides vital services to the public is about to be destroyed from within by Governor Inslee’s mandatory vaccination rule. A rigid implementation of the mandate is generally going to mean that by mid-October, state services will experience a massive staffing shortage as 20 to 35 percent of state employees are fired. How will our state provide basic services with a huge staff shortage?

Are you prepared for the collapse of state law enforcement? Are you prepared for the collapse of the transportation system – for ferries and busses to stop running on time or at all? Are you prepared for the collapse of the medical system as some hospitals choose to lay off a third of their staff when there’s already a staff shortage? Are you prepared to drive your child to school when they lay off the bus drivers? What about the power grid? Will the energy systems function properly if there’s a 30 percent layoff in that sector? Or are we looking at rolling blackouts?

Gov. Inslee doesn’t care about Washington taxpayers. His vaccine mandate is a power play by a tyrant with too much power. Inslee doesn’t care who loses their jobs, doesn’t care about public safety, and obviously is willing to bring the entire state to its knees. This is not about public health. The chaos that will come when the October layoffs happen is a feature, not a bug. He’s going to bring the entire system crashing down.

Now what?

Stop waiting for someone to save you. Your union won’t save you. Your boss won’t save you. Your Republican legislator cannot save you; your Democratic legislator is currently backing Inslee. Inslee is the supreme ruler of Washington, and it appears he’s going to tear our entire system down to the ground. Who has the power to fix this mess?

You do. You are not helpless, and it’s time to accept the reality on the ground, and prepare for an uncertain future. You have six weeks to prepare your family to survive this coming vaccine mandate crisis. Focus on the basics and you won’t go wrong.

It’s time to band together with friends, neighbors and co-workers to plan peaceful actions of protest and resistance. What would happen if an entire workforce stood together for medical freedom? What would happen if entire communities stopped listening to power hungry, evil tyrants who believe that they are going to get away with destroying our Constitution and our Freedom?

The government of the state of Washington is broken. We must start today to work to fix it.

I see stuff like this a lot. The world is going to end, etc.

It typically ends with something like “The government of the state of Washington is broken. We must start today to work to fix it.”

What I’ve NEVER seen is “And here’s how we go about doing it.”

In life, it’s easy to say “that _______________ is broken.”

    Car, TV, toy… or government.

Where the rubber meets the road is… here’s how.

And yet another complaint column is worthless, unless you also include the “how” of it.

Whining never solves anything. Show us your brilliance in solutions.

    Until then…

We’ve disagreed several times in the comments section here at CCT, but in this case I completely agree with you Mr. Hinton. All sides of the political spectrum have become adept at identifying problems (especially from opponents), but nobody wants to provide solutions because solutions require sacrifice.

On a separate note, haven’t people like Ms. Churchill and the Washington Policy Center lamented the unemployment benefits that have kept people from working? Well those benefits are gone and it looks like there are jobs to be had.

She is giving you the solution. Resist. Stand up against this fascist, illegal mandate! I am already vaccinated but I don’t think it is okay to demonize people who chose not to be vaccinated
and take away their right to work or have healthcare.. especially since this vaccine is only 39% effective! The vaccinated are actually spreading the virus now because the virus lowers the symptoms so the vaccinated are walking around spreading COVID19 unknowingly. Go to the protests. Make phone calls to your government. Resist the mask mandate! You are the complainer. You just don’t want to get off your lazy duff to do what is necessary. When they come for your private property I guess you’ll take notice then but 3/4 of the people will be locked up then so there will be no one left to stand up for you. You are whiner, my friend!
