Nancy Churchill believes the Trump verdict has started a chain of events that will impact not just the national race, but the state and local races as well

Dangerous Rhetoric
Normally this column focuses on Washington state politics. However, the unprecedented political persecution of former President Donald J. Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, and the resulting felony indictment in a New York City courtroom last week has started a chain of events that will impact not just the national race, but the state and local races as well. Many of you have asked me, “Now what? What will the Republican Party do now?”
I’m going to turn this question back on you. Now what? What will YOU do now?
You see, if you love America, if you support the constitution and the idea of equal justice under the law — if this sham trial and corrupt, illegal and unconstitutional proceeding anger you, then YOU must get involved in politics. YOU have a role to play in creating the solution.
Hundreds of ways to get involved
Don’t give your power away to some far-away political organization. You have so much more power in your local community. Get involved. Volunteer for something, anything! Your time, energy and attention are your most valuable donation! Support a candidate directly or support a local group or party. Talk to everyone you meet about your concerns—your friends, your family, your neighbors, the people in line at the grocery store.
These actions and conversations are more important than you realize. Voting in August and November are good, but before your ballot arrives, get to know who’s running and what they believe in. Your local auditor’s website will have a list of the candidates you will see on your August ballot.
You may not have been paying attention to politics before this, but the authoritarian communists in charge of our government have just delivered a massive wake up call. You have been called to action. You must join the movement to fight to recover the America we grew up in.
Justice corrupted?
Given that the left controls many media outlets and channels, you might be feeling doubt or confusion about the trial results. Read “34 REASONS the Bragg-Biden Show Trial Should Have Been TOSSED OUT…”. You can also watch “The Real Verdict,” a powerful compilation of legal analysis which includes Bill Barr, Alan Dershowitz, and even Joe Rogan. Both the story and the video highlight many of the legal concerns that undermine the case, and which will likely help Trump overturn the conviction on appeal.
RNC Chair Laura Trump announced a massive fundraising success in the 24 hours after the verdict was announced. The Trump Campaign raised over 50 million dollars in small-dollar donations, which indicates strong support from everyday working people. Better yet, over 30 percent of these donations were from people who had never donated before. As Ms. Trump noted, “They have awakened a sleeping giant. The American people are ticked off!”
Gary Bauer, senior vice president of public policy for the James Dobson Family Institute issued a statement which began “The Left is not only waging legal warfare against Donald Trump. They are attempting to prevent half the country from having any say in the governance of our nation, and they have weaponized the legal system to ensure their success at any cost.” Bauer’s statement pointed out the verdict “is a clarion call for every
God-fearing, America-loving Christian and our fellow citizens who believe in faith, family, and freedom to run, walk, or crawl, if necessary, to the polls this November.”
As you listen to neo-Marxist, left-wing radicals gloating over the trial results, just remember, “The only verdict that matters is the verdict at the ballot box.” Between now and marking your ballot, take the time to get involved in your community and a political race. Saving our nation depends upon YOU.
