A major reason for the huge budget shortfall in education throughout the state goes unsaid by our leftist news media.
Our state provides about $10,000 per student to each school district. Every district in the state has experienced massive loss of students. Battle Ground lost 1,000 students last year. That’s $10,000,000.
Parents recognize the substandard education their kids are receiving in our public schools. Private school enrollment is booming.
