Vancouver resident Elizabeth Litsey offers her endorsement for Kathleen O’Claire for Vancouver School Board position

I am writing to endorse Kathleen O’Claire for position 2 of the Vancouver School board. I have known Kathleen for many years. I am an elementary teacher and have had her children in my classroom.
In the years I have known Kathleen, I have been impressed with her accomplishments, focus and integrity in everything she does. She is an experienced certified school risk manager, so she has a clear understanding of the complex issues school districts face as they strive to provide education while protecting the safety of students.
She also has extensive experience working with students, families, teachers and other school personnel, and is well qualified to set budget priorities and build trust with stakeholders. Kathleen will be a huge asset to the school board and deserves your vote this August.
