Vancouver Police Department investigators are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 35-year-old Tyson Watson, a resident of Vancouver.

On Thu., July 9, Watson was on duty at his workplace, a manufacturing company located near the Grand Central Fred Meyer store, in the area of Columbia House Blvd. and Grand Blvd.  At about 10:30 a.m., Watson told another employee that “he had to go” and exited the building.

Watson has not been seen or heard from since.  Prior to his disappearance, Watson did not have a vehicle and got around by riding his bicycle and using public transportation. Watson left his bicycle, his cell phone, and his backpack behind at the job site.

Watson lives at a residence in the Hazel Dell neighborhood. His roommate reported that he has not seen him since around the time of July 9.

At this time it is not known whether Watson was involved in a dating relationship with anyone or had any close friends in this area.  Watson’s family members report that as part of his character Tyson likes to keep to himself.

Watson was in good standing with his employer and had been working for this company for several months.  He did not have any known recent altercations with anyone in the near past.

Watson was wearing nondescript clothing (nothing unusual) such as a T-shirt and jeans before he left the job site.  Watson did not have any known scars, marks, or tattoos.

Watson is approximately 6-foot-1 and weighs about 220 pounds. Anyone with information to his whereabouts are asked to contact the Vancouver Police Department’s dispatch center.
