Vancouver Police investigating potential kidnapping


At 6:44 p.m. on Monday, several callers reported a kidnapping had occurred at the intersection of SE Mill Plain Blvd and SE 164th Ave.

The Vancouver Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance with the investigation of a potential kidnapping.

At 6:44 p.m. on Monday (Feb. 28), several callers reported a kidnapping had occurred at the intersection of SE Mill Plain Blvd and SE 164th Ave. 

The suspect was described as a shorter White or Hispanic male, 20 to 30 years old, wearing a white shirt. The suspect’s vehicle is a newer model 4-door full size truck, thought to be gray in color.  

The victim was a female described as having a shorter stature with dark colored hair, wearing a puff jacket. An extensive area check was conducted and the suspect and victim could not be located. 

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has video of the incident is asked to call 3-1-1.
