Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office identifies victim as Armando P. Valencia, a 34-year-old Vancouver resident
The Vancouver Police Department is investigating a homicide that reportedly took place Saturday.
On Saturday (Aug. 21) at 6:13 p.m., Vancouver Police responded to the area of 2715 NE 138th Ave. for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers attempted to provide aid to a male victim. Fire crews arrived and pronounced the male deceased at the scene.

The Major Crimes Unit and Safe Streets Task Force responded and are currently investigating. On Tuesday, the victim was identified by the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office as 34-year-old Vancouver resident Armando P. Valencia. The cause of death was listed as gunshot wound to the chest. Â
There is no perceived danger to the public at this time.
