A male suffering a non-life-threatening gunshot injury was located

VANCOUVER – Tuesday (March 4) at about 4 p.m., callers to 9-1-1 reported hearing shots fired in the area of E Fourth Plain Blvd. and Fort Vancouver Way. A male suffering a non-life-threatening gunshot injury was located. 

Officers also located multiple shell casings in the 2500 block of Fort Vancouver Way. A canvass of the area was conducted, including a K9 track. No additional victims were located. 

Police are continuing to interview possible witnesses and are attempting to confirm a suspect(s) description. 

Anyone with information, that has not spoken to police, is asked to contact the Vancouver Police Department.

The Vancouver Police Department Major Crime Unit is continuing the investigation.
