
Detectives have learned that several individuals were present at the time of the shooting that have not come forward or spoken with police
VANCOUVER – On Thursday (Oct. 20), Vancouver Police responded to a disturbance with a weapon call in the area of SE Mill Plain Blvd./NE Chkalov Drive.
Officers located an 18-year-old female with a gunshot wound to the hand and a 23-year-old male deceased. The female was treated at an area hospital and has since been released. The identity, cause, and manner of death of the male victim will be released by the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The Vancouver Police Department Major Crimes Unit is continuing the investigation. Detectives have learned that several individuals were present at the time of the shooting that have not come forward or spoken with police.
