On Saturday (March 5) at about 3:46 p.m., Vancouver Police responded to E 25th St. between Main St. and Broadway St. for the report of a drive-by shooting. Two males, each armed with a handgun, were walking eastbound on the southside of E 25th St. approaching Broadway St. when they heard multiple gunshots behind them.  They turned around to find that they were being shot at by occupant(s) of a dark-colored vehicle. Both of the males returned fire at the vehicle.

A Clark PUD utility conduit was struck and cut power servicing some residences as well as Walgreens and Hi-School Pharmacy. Each store was forced to close for business. No injuries were reported. This incident is being investigated by the Safe Streets Task Force.

On Saturday (March 5) at about 11:05 p.m., Vancouver Police responded to 2900 E 20th St. for the report of a drive-by shooting. The victim was standing outside the convenience store when a vehicle drove southbound on Fairmount Ave. and an occupant of the vehicle shot at the victim several times as the vehicle drove by.
