One resident was displaced from the home but was uninjured
Just after midnight on Friday (April 12), the Vancouver Fire Department responded to a house fire at 10419 NE 50th Ave.
The first-arriving units found a heavily involved single-story home. Crews quickly deployed fire attack hoses and performed a rapid search of the home. Fire command officers then determined the structural integrity was too compromised and withdrew crews to continue fighting the fire from the exterior.
One resident was displaced from the home but was uninjured.
A total of 25 fire personnel from the Vancouver Fire Department and Clark County Fire District 6 worked laboriously to extinguish the fire. Cause is under investigation by the Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office.
