Man found injured near Washougal, police seeking tips

Sheriff’s deputies site suspicious circumstances

WASHOUGAL — A man was found with serious injuries east of Washougal on Saturday (Feb. 15), according to the Clark County Sheriff’s office.

At about 1:30 a.m. on Saturday deputies from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office as well as East County Fire and Rescue responded to a call of a suspicious circumstance.  A motorist had located an injured male on the 38500 block of SE Gibson Road in rural east Clark County.  

The male had been located on the shoulder of the roadway with significant injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.  The Clark County Major Crimes Unit is investigating. The victim’s family is requesting privacy at this time.
