Clark County deputies responded to the 10200 block of 199th Street in Battle Ground at about 9:50 p.m. Sunday evening on a report of a two-car, head-on collision with injuries.
A Ford Fusion, driven by 24-year-old Ketson Tommy, of Kelso, was traveling westbound on 199th street and crossed over into the eastbound lane of travel. Christopher LaValley, 21, of Battle Ground, was traveling eastbound on 199th street, driving a Ford Escape. As Ketson’s vehicle came into to LaValley’s lane of travel, both vehicles collided head on. Air bags deployed in both vehicles.
LaValley was transported to Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital. Ketson and his two passengers, Tawain Tommy, 17, and Jayme Ezra, 19, both from Kelso were transported by ambulance to PeaceHeath Medical Center.
The collision is currently under investigation by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit.
