Tiffany Couch to provide keynote address at Republican Women’s Dinner

VANCOUVER — The Clark County Republican Women (CCRW) invite the general public to attend their next dinner meeting on Fri., May 19.

The event will begins with a 6 p.m. social period and a 6:40 p.m. dinner at Club Green Meadows, 7703 NE 72nd Ave., Vancouver.

The event will feature keynote speaker Tiffany Couch, CPA/CFF, CFE, founder and principal of Acuity Forensics, who will present “The Cost of Public Corruption — What Every Voter Should Know.”

Immediately following her dinner presentation, a book signing event will be held for Couch’s new book, “The Thief in Your Company.” A dinner buffet featuring Chicken en Croute’ will be served. Admission cost for CCRW members is $24, non-members will pay $30.

CCRW keynote speaker, Couch, has more than 19 years of experience in the field of accounting, with the last 12 years focused completely on forensic accounting-related engagements. She has conducted dozens of financial investigations, managed cases involving tens of thousands of documents, and has testified in state and federal jurisdictions.

Couch holds a BS in accounting degree cum laude from Central Washington University. She is a faculty member for the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE); and is a nationally recognized speaker on the topic of fraud and forensic accounting. She has also published several articles in local, regional, and statewide publications, and has been interviewed by national media outlets.

Couch is the winner of the ACFE 2014 James R. Baker Speaker of the Year to honor an individual who has demonstrated the true spirit of leadership in communication, presentation and quality instruction. Couch is the author of “The Thief in Your Company,” available at Amazon.

The mission of CCRW is to encourage women in elected roles and supportive roles, promote an informed electorate, provide quality educational programs, promote Republican ideals and work for the election of GOP nominees.
