Assistance in the apprehension of 35-year-old Abel R. Rodriguez was provided by the Sunnyside Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force
On Thursday (Feb. 1), at about midnight, the suspect in a Vancouver homicide case was located by the Sunnyside Washington Police Department and taken into custody. Assistance in the apprehension of 35-year-old Abel R. Rodriguez was provided by the Sunnyside Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force.
Rodriguez has been booked into the Clark County Jail for Murder II, Assault I and Drive By Shooting in a Jan. 6 shooting near the intersection of E. 18th St. and Bryant Street in Vancouver.
The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the deceased victim as 22-year-old James Sinem, of Vancouver.
