VANCOUVER – Prospective college students are invited to Washington State University Vancouver’s Preview Day at 11 a.m. Sat., Jan. 15. Check in begins at 10:45 a.m. at the Firstenburg Student Commons. Guests will learn about WSU Vancouver’s academic programs, the admissions process, financial aid and scholarships, campus life and more.
As part of Preview Day, seniors in high school will have the opportunity to attend a Cougar Quickstart session, where they can apply on the spot and receive a same-day admissions decision. Students who have a 3.0 cumulative GPA and upload their high school transcript when they register for Preview Day are eligible for Cougar Quickstart.
An admissions presentation will provide a campus overview, as well as admissions requirements and how to apply. Student ambassadors will give insight into campus life, academics and student support services, and offer campus tours. WSU Vancouver faculty will be present to answer questions about your areas of interest. An A – Z of Paying for College Workshop will cover the many ways to afford a college education including loans, grants, waivers and scholarships. Financial aid experts will be on hand to answer individual questions.
