
People traveling in the area should expect delays while crews are working
WOODLAND – People traveling on Interstate 5 in Cowlitz County should expect nighttime delays for maintenance beginning July 8 until the morning of July 13.
What travelers need to know
- From 8 p.m. Monday, July 8 to 5 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, maintenance crews will close the center lane of southbound I-5 in Woodland between State Route 503 (milepost 23) and Lewis River Drive (milepost 21) for paving.
- From 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 9 to 5 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, maintenance crews will close the right two lanes of southbound I-5 in Woodland between SR 503 (milepost 21) and North Fork Lewis River (milepost 20) for paving. The SR 503 off-ramp will also close.
- From 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 10 to 5 a.m. Thursday, July 11, maintenance crews will close the center lane of southbound I-5 south of Woodland between near East Fork Lewis River (milepost 19) and La Center Road (milepost 17) for paving.
- From 8 p.m. Thursday, July 11 to 5 a.m. Friday, July 12, maintenance crews will close the right two lanes of southbound I-5 in Woodland between State Route 503 (milepost 23) and Lewis River Drive (milepost 21) for paving. The Dike Road on-ramp and the SR 503 off-ramp will also close.
- From 8 p.m. Friday, July 12 to 5 a.m. Saturday, July 13, maintenance crews will close the right two lanes of northbound I-5 in Kelso between Median Crossing (milepost 35) and SR 432 (milepost 37) for paving.
