Nighttime lane, intersection closures on Highway 99 cancelled this weekend


Contractor crews will pave Highway 99 between Northeast 78th Street and Northeast 134th Street; work postponed due to weather

VANCOUVER — Drivers along the Highway 99 corridor can expect upcoming lane closures at the intersection of Highway 99 and 99th Street. The closures were scheduled to begin Sat., June 13, but they were cancelled due to weather.

Contractor crews will pave Highway 99 between Northeast 78th Street and Northeast 134th Street. The contractor will start at Highway 99 and Northeast 99th Street. Traveler will be asked to take alternate routes during future closures.

Weather work is weather dependent and may be rescheduled if necessary.

Once nighttime paving work is complete, drivers can anticipate daytime single-lane closures as crews return to the corridor to complete replacement of center medians, signing and striping operations and remaining traffic signal work. The daytime work is expected to begin in late June or early July.
