LA CENTER – Drivers who use Interstate 5 near La Center should be prepared for overnight delays Mon., Oct. 17 through the morning of Fri., Oct 21.
Contractor crews working for the Cowlitz Tribe will detour I-5 traffic via the La Center off- and on-ramps (Exit 16) for bridge girder delivery and installation.
Northbound closure information
On Mon., Oct. 17 to the morning of Wed., Oct. 19: Northbound I-5 will detour via the La Center off- and on-ramp nightly from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.
- The first lane will close at 7 p.m.
- The second lane will close at 9 p.m.
- The first lane on I-5 will reopen at 4 a.m., the second at 5 a.m., and all lanes will be open by 6 a.m.
Southbound closure information
On, Wed., Oct. 19 to the morning of Fri., Oct. 21: Southbound I-5 will detour via the La Center off- and on-ramp nightly from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.
- The first lane will close at 7 p.m.
- The second lane will close at 9 p.m.
- The first lane on I-5 will reopen at 4 a.m., the second at 5 a.m., and all lanes will be open by 6 a.m.
To keep detour traffic moving, both directions of Northwest 319th Street across I-5 will close each night from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.
