VANCOUVER — The city of Vancouver and Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA) are sponsoring a free Medicare forum from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Mon., Oct. 17, at the Luepke Senior Center, 1009 E. McLoughlin Blvd. (behind the Marshall Community Center).
The forum will include a short presentation at the beginning, with plenty of time for one-on-one consultation with qualified SHIBA advisors about Medicare basics, open enrollment and comparing plans and options for 2017.
No appointments or registration is required — participants are encouraged to just show up. No vendors are invited.
The city is offering this forum as part of Vancouver Parks and Recreation’s 50 and Better Program. For more information about this program, pick up a copy of The Messenger newspaper or visit www.cityofvancouver.us/50andBetter.
