Construction Details

  • Beginning at 10:30 p.m., Friday, July 9, until 7 a.m. Saturday, July 10: up to three lanes of southbound I-5, just north of the I-5/I-205 split near milepost 8.0 and the on-ramp from Northeast 179th Street to southbound I-5, will close overnight for concrete panel repair and replacement work.

As with any highway construction project, travelers must exercise caution in the work zone, and reduce speed to ensure your safety and the safety of highway workers. It’s also the law. Traffic fines are doubled in construction zones. Obeying warning signs and highway worker instructions benefits all those who share the roadway.
