COVID-19 update: Three additional cases identified in Clark County

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Clark County is 16

VANCOUVER — Three more people have tested positive for novel coronavirus, COVID-19, in Clark County. The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Clark County is 16, including four deaths.

One new case is a woman in her 40s. She is recovering at home.

The second new case is a woman in her 40s. She is recovering at home.

The third new case is a man in his 40s. He is currently hospitalized.

Public Health is still investigating whether these individuals had any known contact with confirmed cases.

Public Health is working to identify and notify the close contacts of these new confirmed cases. All close contacts will be instructed to stay home for 14 days after their last contact with a confirmed case.

Given the anticipated ongoing increase in COVID-19 cases and deaths, Public Health will no longer issue daily news releases with updated case counts. Instead, all information typically included in news releases will be provided by 11 a.m. daily on the Public Health novel coronavirus website. 

Updates will also be posted on the Public Health Facebook and Twitter accounts. News releases will be issued for other significant changes, such as clusters of deaths or cases, and other Public Health announcements.
