Clark County Sheriff’s Office makes arrest in road rage incident

Aleksey Enes, 30, was arrested as a result of incident that took place Sept. 22 on NE Padden Parkway

On Friday (Oct. 1) deputies with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office arrested Aleksey Enes, 30, of Brush Prairie on the charges of Attempted Murder II and Drive by Shooting. 

The incident, which occurred on Sept. 22, on NE Padden Parkway, began as a road rage incident between Enes and the victim.  Multiple 9-1-1 callers reported the driver of a Subaru fired multiple shots at another vehicle on NE Padden Parkway east of NE 94^th Avenue.

Responding deputies contacted the victim and witnesses.  Deputies located shell casings in the roadway on Padden Parkway.  Further investigation confirmed the victim’s vehicle had been struck by gunfire.

On Friday CCSO patrol deputies and detectives with the CCSO Tactical Detective Unit followed up on a tip regarding a possible suspect vehicle.  Deputies located the vehicle at a Brush Prairie residence, where they contacted several subjects outside the residence.  

A subsequent search warrant was served at the residence.  Several firearms, ammunition and accessories were seized including a handgun and ammunition of the same caliber that was used in the shooting.

Aleksey Enes was booked into the Clark County Jail on an outstanding arrest warrant, Attempted Murder II and Drive by Shooting. 

This investigation is ongoing and no further information will be released at this time.
